It should have 2 lans one for existing 4K modules and one for any new matrix modules
Any new head end software should also talk to 4K |

Two things I would like to see.
1) Extra area off/on on a user/usertype basis from a common card reader for multiple areas. 2) AC fail, low battery on the 2door module via the ribbon cable to PSU same as mini expander. |

But should not chew up zones in doing so

Bluetooth support would be pretty handy. Setup laptop within 10 meters (ie, in another room) of the panel and program away etc.

The terminal near a door (touch or elite) to display the name of the user that badged the card at the reader head (similar to what happens when you pin then OK. Good Morning Installer)
Could be handy for time on site applications to then also attach the time and date. Good Morning John. In- 08.00.00 1/2/10 Good Afternoon John. Out- 17.00.00 1/2/10

How about a DOTL timer that has selectable seconds/min options?

A DOLT timer, I love the idea! It's the dolt detector that's the hard part, though.
Cheers, Alf |
